Archdioceses of Atlanta Speaker Series: Evangelizing the Digital Age - Our 21st century digital world is awash in information. We are one tap or click away from sports scores to cat videos and so much more. How well is the Catholic Church engaging this digital communication age? Is the Gospel of Jesus Christ being heard above the noise? Atlanta's Catholic Toastmasters clubs are excited to present this new speaker series showcasing the efforts of Atlanta's faithful to bring the light of Christ to the culture today. Evangelizing the Digital Age will be held at Taco Mac (at the Prado), located at 5600 Roswell Rd., Sandy Springs 30342, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Speaker presentation begins at 7:00. Admission is $5:

Ave Maria Pilgrimage 10 days of spiritual reflection and healing.
Fr. Bill Hao will be the spiritual director on a pilgrimage to Lourdes and other notable religious sites in France on September 12-21, 2017. Deepen your devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary in 10 days of spiritual reflection and healing. Fr. Bill will celebrate Mass daily and provide spiritual direction. The pilgrimage schedule provides participants 3 days in Lourdes for an opportunity to be immersed in the waters of the Grotto and the baths. Other religious sites include Nevers where participants can pray before the preserved remains of St. Bernadette, the magnificent Cathedral in Chartres, Lisieux where we will celebrate Mass at the Tomb of St. Therese, the chapel of the Miraculous Medal in Paris, the Tomb of St. Vincent de Paul, Notre Dame Catherdral and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Gregory announced his vision of the Pastoral Plan to guide our Archdiocese over the next five years. All Catholics are invited to attend the weekly Monday Mass at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur. Mass begins at 11:30amMany of our Catholic veterans do not have family or visitors and look to the church for pastoral care. This weekly Mass is celebrated for the wellbeing and spiritual support of veterans from all branches. Mass of Healing for Anyone Impacted by Addiction for all those struggling with any addiction, as well as anyone who is impacted by the addiction of someone else. Although memory care cafés have existed in the UK for many years, this concept is fairly new in the US
. On March, 5, 2016, Amy’s Place opened in Roswell, GA, with the mission of providing respite and support services to caregivers who selflessly serve those affected with dementia and related disorders. Amy’s Place provides an opportunity for the family caregiver and their loved one with dementia to socialize, learn and connect with those who share in the journey of caring for someone with dementia. Supporting caregivers can be a family member, friend or hired assistant. Amy’s Place also aims to reduce the stigma often associated with dementia, by offering educational events to the community.
